excellent location quiet background music
the location was excellent near the royal mile and the grass market i found the staff very helpful and kind the bar downstairs did not bother me at all it was well soundproofed i only heard quiet background music.
the hotel rooms were not large

fantastic central stay!
central location spacious room convenient luggage storage
this place was great for getting around. everything felt really close by, especially victoria street. the room i had (xxl sleeps up to 6) was spacious. also, storing my luggage before check-in was super convenient.
The front door is a bit awkward with two doors opening against each other. It's tricky when you have luggage.

the staff were always approachable and helpful (i saw one guest ask for directions and the receptionist was very patient). i was able to leave my bags at reception without any issues before check-in.

the location is definitely a highlight. it's near many attractions. plus, there are a couple of bars right next to it, if that's your thing (it was mine!).

Fantastic Location with Funky Touches

The location was GREAT. I was minutes from the Royal Mile. My room included a comfy bed and a large bathroom. I also liked that it had a smart TV where I could watch Netflix. The built-in stereo system was a plus.
The floorboards were REALLY creaky. I could also hear loud music late at night. It made it hard to fall asleep sometimes.

The hotel is near many good restaurants and bars. There is a large outdoor student bar next door with music. it Plays quite late which is fun, if you like music.

My room included a tea making kit and two snack bars! There was also a hairdryer available. I APPRECIATED the good interior design features and cosy vibe of the hotel public spaces.

The hotel has easy access to everything, especially the Royal Mile. It is located in or near the University area. I could walk to all attractions easily from the hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful! i had a small double room. It was super clean. plus, the water pressure in the shower was amazing!
the street entrance wasn't very visible at night, just a little hard to find.

Fantastic Location and Trendy Vibe!
superb location comfy bed smart tv
I was SO happy with the superb location, seriously 10/10! The hotel is only two minutes away from the Royal Mile and the historic centre. The comfy bed, HUGE bathroom, and very nice built-in stereo system were great touches. I also appreciated that the room had a smart TV where I could watch Netflix.

The hotel has food delivered from next door, available to your table in the lobby, and it's very reasonably priced (which is always a HUGE plus!). The breakfast offered a good range, even though I didn't try it this time.

The room was cool and trendy with a massive TV including Freeview, coffee making facilities, and shampoo in the shower. I especially liked that there was even a hairdryer AND straighteners included, unexpected but great.
