poor soundproofingwall marks
The room i had was far from soundproof. i heard every word spoken in the corridor. the window also didn't fully shut, a fact i discovered when loud music and voices kept me up. there were also some unwelcome marks on the wall. I really found it frustrating.

the breakfast selection included many choices and was always well stocked. i found the staff very friendly and helpful . the hotel's central location made it a great base for exploring because it was only a few minutes walk from one of the main tourist bus stops
the room was quite dark because there was no main overhead light to illuminate the entire space. i had to turn on individual lamps to see well.

The location was central and very walkable. i enjoyed the breakfast with its large selection. staff were helpful and attentive. I was greeted with a smile each time i passed reception! the hotel definitely had a boutique feel.
the lighting in my room was a bit dark.
