i was annoyed that the main pool was closed. this meant the other pools were really crowded (uncomfortably so, actually). outdoor showers weren't working either, another disappointment.

the architecture blends arabic tradition and modern luxury seamlessly. i found the staff attentive from arrival. Chef ahmed ibrahim and amro were superb. the chef even accommodated my wife's food allergy with custom dishes. Such care impressed me.
the main pool's closure made the other pools crowded, and the noise from ongoing works was intrusive. outdoor showers were also out of service, and a request for cold water went unfulfilled.
