Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit claustrophobic with old furniture, reminiscent of university dorms, and in need of some TLC on the paintwork. However, the service was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the city center. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes being late and not up to par, but overall enjoyable. The facilities met our needs adequately.

I was fortunate to receive a free upgrade to a room with a large bathroom and a fabulous view from the window, even though I was on the basement floor.
