The guesthouse is wonderfully located, a short walk to shops and bus/train stations, with free parking, making it a real gem. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, though noise from the car park kept us from opening windows at night. The service was top-notch, with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, although the new management lacks the same warmth. The dining experience was delightful, offering high-quality fare, including organic pulled pork. The location couldn't be better, just a minute to the high street and a leisurely stroll to Bowness, making it a perfect base for exploring. The value for money here is excellent.
