Reviews and Ratings
I always felt like I was in a cave with the greatest view from my room, which made my stay exceptionally comfortable. However, it would have been perfect with 2 single beds. The room was nicely decorated, had a comfortable bath, and even offered free refreshments.
The hotel's location is right in the bustling center of the city, making it convenient to explore the vibrant surroundings. The rooms, though thin-walled and prone to noise, are elegantly designed with some minor maintenance issues. The Wi-Fi is unreliable, and the shower tends to flood. However, the overall experience is elevated by the service staff who have consistently shown a welcoming and helpful attitude over the years.
Staying at the hotel felt like being in an art gallery with beautiful, spacious rooms equipped with every amenity one could need. However, the price for the night was a bit high considering the room felt tiny with a small window, making it somewhat claustrophobic.
Staying at the Hotel Claris for 3 nights in a duplex suite was a glamorous and stylish experience. The rooms were in line with the hotel's tone and had a wonderful spa bath, although the focus seemed to lean more towards style than convenience.
I stayed in an executive suite with great art, decor, and amenities overlooking a dark utility area, making the experience a mix of luxury and unattractiveness. The harmonious spaces within the hotel added to the overall charm and comfort of the stay.
The hotel may lack external light in the rooms, looking out into a dark utility area, but they are surprisingly comfortable, charming, and full of character. The service is top-notch, with a multilingual and helpful staff going above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The location is unbeatable, placing you right in the heart of Barcelona's attractions. The dining experience is outstanding, offering a variety of options to please every palate. While the facilities are well-kept, there may be room for improvement in some areas.
Upgrading to a much more luxurious suite from the bedroom was a great decision as the room itself was so comfortable and clean. The hotel offers friendly and polite service, from my room by a porter to overseeing breakfast at the coffee shop. Dining at the hotel was superb, especially the elegant breakfast spread. Overall, it was a perfect stay in the best hotel I've experienced.
The hotel has a modern room design, but not as shown in the booking photos. The bathroom is contemporary, matching the overall style. The housekeeping staff sometimes leave their trolleys outside the rooms, which can be a bit of an inconvenience.
