I was really surprised to receive an upgrade to a Duplex Superior Suite City View. The room was spacious with a great view of the city. The staff were nice and helpful, also providing a birthday cake (a nice touch).
The swimming pool was not particularly excellent. It was functional but lacked the extra features that I expected from a hotel of this caliber. The sauna was a great alternative (thankfully).

the rooms was bright. the location is near taksim square. the hot stone massage was excellent. i was able to easily walk to taksim square and other nearby attractions.
the minibar was full of items, so i could not store my personal beverages.

i found a cozy and clean room. the staff was helpful and polite. they upgraded my room to a lovely suite. this give a great start to my day. i have really enjoyed it.
the coffee was a bit weak. as a Finn, i did appreciate the sauna a lot anyway. it was pleasant to use the pool also.

peeling stickerstained furniture
The duplex i booked looked much better in the photos. in reality, it appears quite worn. the window shade sticker was peeling, a distracting detail i found unpleasant. the kitchen seemed purely decorative. It lacked essential items, and the microwave was non-functional. i also observed that some furnishings had noticeable stains.
