afternoon tea cocktail option

Afternoon tea was included. The tasting spoons with a cocktail were also offered. Breakfast included an Arnold Bennett omelette. The quality was superb.

The hotel lacked an elevator so luggage transport was inconvenient.

The breakfast service was quite slow despite few guests being present. scheduling breakfast felt inflexible because the staff said they had staffing issues. i found this inconvenient. The room was smaller than expected.

I really enjoyed the afternoon tea. It was delicious. the tasting spoons were a fun and tasty twist, i thought! the staff gave helpful local tips. This was much appreciated.

the towels were not as soft as i expected! they could have been bigger, twice. the coffee had grounds floating in it. the girl who served us breakfast did not smile.

city center walking distance breakfast choice staff effort extra cost hard towel wife stroke

The location was within walking distance of the city center. It was close to points of interest I wanted to see. Breakfast offered good choices. The staff went to great lengths to get me into my room early. I did not expect it.

I purchased my two day break. I expected to indulge my wife. I found I had to apparently pay even more to be 'indulged'. Towels were hard, not luxurious.
