Central stay with balcony
nice balcony spacious room helpful staff
the room had a nice balcony.. the beautiful double room was spacious enough for a weekend stay. i appreciated the inclusion of a fridge and kettle in the room. the staff at reception were very helpful and friendly.
the safe in the room wasn't working, but i did not need it.

the location is quite central. the hotel is near shops and within walking distance of the anne frank house, approximately two blocks away, very convenient.

the room was clean and had good facilities, including a balcony with a view. there was plenty of hot water available, which i found quite refreshing after a day of sightseeing, and the free wifi was fast and reliable.

easy access close proximity
My room included a fridge. The location provided easy access to the tram, just one block away. i found a place to eat very close. The anne frank house was roughly two blocks from the hotel.
The staircase was very steep.

authentic experience
authentic room spacious layout friendly reception
i found a room with a street view that i thought was amazing i loved the authentic feel the spacious layout included a high ceiling i found it all to be very comfortable i liked it very much. the bed was super comfy i got a great sleep i really loved the balcony it was fab. the reception guy was really friendly he helped us out with a travel plug since we forgot ours.
i noticed the stairs were quite steep before reaching the lobby and room i think it is something to be improved.

the location allowed easy walks to many attractions it was excellent everything was easily walkable from the hotel including food coffee shops and shopping it made exploring simple. the anne frank house was a short walk.

i appreciated that they allowed everyone to use a balcony i found it very helpful that they let me store my luggage after i checked out it made my last day easier. free wifi access was convenient.

excessive noise steep stairs
The location was definitely a plus. Everything seemed reasonably accessible.
the noise levels were excessive. i could hear everything from the street, and internal sounds traveled far too easily. the lack of soundproofing made sleep quite difficult. the stairs were a nightmare too. they were steep and narrow, not ideal with luggage or after a long day.

great location balcony bonus clean room steep stairs foul smell distant check-in
the location was close to many places to visit. there was a balcony where i could sit and relax in the sunshine. the room had all i needed as a base and it was clean.
i had to check in at a hotel down the road. the stairs were really steep. there was also a foul smell coming from the bathroom.

steep staircases messy interior
the location was very good AND cleaners visited EVERYDAY, emptying the bin and replacing the bedding.
the stairs were EXTREMELY steep. they were also dark. common areas did NOT appear clean or tidy. interior and furnishing was a mess.

a basic stay with some issues
dirty cups unsafe staircase
the location provided easy access to nearby areas.
the hotel presented several issues first the room smelled strongly of cigarettes second the provided cups were dirty inside this impacted the comfort of my stay i also heard doors slamming often at night the steep staircase felt unsafe especially with luggage this created concerns about security and fire safety.
