charmed by city escape

I found a well laid out room. it had a fridge. the comfy bed was a plus. there was a secure car park. It was super helpful with the validation.

the location worked perfectly! i found it super convenient being so close to everything. the staff was also really helpful and friendly, so i really felt welcome there. the breakfast included such a standard help yourself service, also i asked the waitress to ask the chef for a couple of runny fried eggs... he did accommodate me for!
the air conditioning wasn't working and i only found out right before my stay. the shower gel dispenser was empty. also, the bar staff seemed disinterested in serving drinks..

tired decornoisy room
the hotel itself needs a refresh. the decor looked tired. our room faced the square, noisy until after midnight. the breakfast experience was a disaster. the room felt too small, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. i never even got offered tea or coffee, so i went to costa instead.
