The Rutland Hotel is often praised for its generously sized and clean rooms, with some guests specifically mentioning the large walk-in showers. Its location provides a good balance, convenient for city centre access while also offering a quieter environment, such as for excursions to Chatsworth House. Guests appreciate having tea/coffee facilities and an iron with ironing board in their rooms. While the limited parking can be a challenge, many consider the hotel to be excellent value for money.

I am grateful for the large, spacious room I had. It included a good shower. The staff upgraded my stay to an Executive Double Room and I'm so thankful for that. The room gave me more than enough space to relax after a long day.

A VERY positive experience

handy locationfriendly staffgood breakfastparking fee
The location worked great just outside the Clean Air Zone. The staff were very friendly and helpful always. Breakfast was good each morning I had it. The standard of cleaning is good throughout the hotel.
I had to pay £9 per night for parking. I think it is unacceptable and should be included in the room rate. This additional charge detracts from an otherwise AMAZING experience.
Rooms
