balanced stay

really good staffexcellent locationmodern bathroomone chairclosed minibar
I found the staff really good. nothing seemed too much of an ask for them. the location is excellent, providing easy access to central destinations via gloucester road tube station. the bathroom was particularly gorgeous. It was both clean and modern.
it felt quite cramped with us, the luggage, and the porter. the room was supposed to be a twin room, but there was only one chair. Frankly, there wasn't room for two. the minibar would not open..

the room felt quite small compared to what i anticipated from the pictures online. the bed was pushed right up against the wall. little space remained for moving around. the breakfast area was very noisy. the arrangement felt more like a budget hotel than a four-star hotel. it really affected the start of my day.
