disruptive noisedefective lights
The bathroom lights were problematic . I could not turn them off at all. I found some moderate lights that did not function adequately in the room plus the noise from outside was disruptive. There was no air conditioning so I had to sleep with the windows open, resulting in disturbances from loud people well into the morning.

our two nights in the hemsley suite were lovely, it made our anniversary special. the staff were thoughtful and helpful. james and another staff member took care of every detail. the roses scattered around the room were a beautiful touch.

the hotel is close to a bus stop and the seafront. the location is near the pier, in one of the nicest areas. the library and bar area offered a nice spot to unwind after a day of visiting.

i appreciated the location near the seafront pier. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the bed provided was very comfortable and i enjoyed the lovely decoration throughout.
the sound insulation was not sufficient from the noise of the couple upstairs. i could hear every footstep and creak throughout the night. the fridge in the room did not work. i found this a minor annoyance.

The staff were very attentive. i booked two nights in the beautiful king suite. the rooms were super clean (my girlfriend was thrilled by the condition of it). i found the location wonderful. It was a short walk from town, yet tucked away in a quiet area.

the staff were lovely. they made sure i had everything i needed. the location is quite good. the breakfast was also nice with fresh water and milk in the fridge.
my room was at the top of the house. a constant noise came from the en-suite. the tv connection was very poor and kept stalling. i could not disconnect the bright light completely when i turned the tv off.

the hotel has a unique design. i had a very restful weekend there. the staff was very attentive to my needs and were lovely. the food was amazing at the hotel. i was grateful for that.
