Aberdeen House boasts a fantastic location in the city centre, with the train and bus stations conveniently across the street. Guests consistently report clean and spacious rooms, some even offering a peekaboo ocean view, and appreciate the modern shower fittings with great water pressure. While some guests have mentioned the decor being a bit of a mish-mash, the hotel's proximity to transport links and overall cleanliness make it a great choice for short stays in Aberdeen. Eating options are plentiful in the close neighborhood.

amazing central stay!

great locationcoffee facilitiesworn furniture
I loved the location near the bus and train station. It was super convenient! the rooms were roomy and the bathrooms were very nice, i totally appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in my room. What a bonus!
The hotel needs some tlc, i noticed the furniture looked a bit worn, it seemed like some spots could use refurbishment and updating. It would really make the place shine.
Dining
8/10
though i didn't dine in i noticed a breakfast area offering a continental option, it featured cereals, pastries, and fruit, i noticed there was also coffee and tea available throughout the morning , really awesome.

perfectly placed, practical stay

central locationbus stationtrain stationbus stops
the hotel's location proved quite convenient for exploring. the bus station is just opposite the building. the train station sits only about 100 meters away. several bus stops are directly outside the front door, simplifying travel across the area.
The room door did not close properly. I had to push it shut on entry and exit to ensure it locked. the safety lock on the inside did not work either. i placed a chair against the door at bedtime for added security.

Acceptable Value for the Price

good pressuregreat locationoutside doorsreception area
The room included a large shower with good water pressure. The location is great for the railway and bus station. The city centre is also easily accessible. The room itself was very clean.
The outside doors need some attention. People waited for buses just outside the building. Some people stood in the doorway and smoked. The reception area is unappealing and needs a complete refit.
