LOVELY romantic getaway

Our Comfy Room was immaculate! I REALLY appreciated the details like the coffee, tea, biscuits, and kettle. The hotel grounds are fine. We tasted the vegan breakfast and the regular one. Both were SO delicious.
Sadly, the walls seemed thin. Hearing other people's conversations was difficult. Being right under the bar, the constant stomping was a bit much after a while. The constant door slamming got old because we were by the main door.

The facilities were clean and of good quality! This location has walks right from the building. The hotel welcomes dogs throughout the hotel, including the restaurant. A welcome pack waited for Toby, our dog, a VERY pleasant surprise.

The staff was friendly AND helpful, which I loved. Reception was smooth and the bar service was excellent. Charlie and Jack. I really appreciated them.

The location is perfect. It is a very beautiful area. On a good day, the view of the lake is amazing! The surrounding area is a wonder. I recommend walking around it, so be prepared.

The Comfy Room we stayed in was lovely and COSY, very romantic! The big bath towels were appreciated. The room also had a good shower in the wet room and water. Lots of hot drink choices are available.

i was charmed by the location near the water. the building has a really interesting character, i loved it. the room decor was really nice and calming (it was perfect. the staff were very friendly and were great.
I noticed limited storage in the bathroom and bedroom. Living out of my suitcase was a slight inconvenience.
