the room was quirky and well appointed, i did appreciate that.
The toilet roll holder was loose, the shower tap dripped all night. The wall was damaged above the basin. also, the light in the mirror didn't work at all. This felt very shabby.

The staff was helpful. i found an ironing board and iron, handy. the shower was excellent. breakfast came in a picnic hamper and was ordered from a list the night before. It was delivered right to the room.
the hotel had no lounge area or bar.
