adequate stay with some drawbacks
friendly team central location free parking small room stuffy room tired hotel
the team was friendly and helpful. the location felt very central. free parking proved convenient. i was in a room towards the rear of the hotel, and it was very quiet.
my room felt small and stuffy. the hotel seems a little tired. it does have beautiful original features like wooden beams. despite of that, the hotel has a potential to be much better.

Acceptable Stay with a Minor Issue
inadequate temperature control security bar
the staff was friendly.
The room lacked temperature control. I had to open a window but felt unsafe leaving it open overnight since it was easily accessible from outside. there wasn't a working security bar on the door either.

low ceiling cold towel rail
the continental breakfast was alright , it did its job.
the ceiling above the door stairs was quite low , and there was no warning. i smacked my head pretty good. also , there were no hooks in the bedroom or bathroom , so hanging clothes was a struggle. the towel rail was cold , so towels remained damp.
