a balanced experience
friendly staff large rooms late arrival missing toothbrush
staff are very friendly and accommodating. rooms are large and breakfast is great. location beside embankment station is fantastic. i enjoyed the easy access to transportation.
the room wasn't ready upon arrival, this made me wait in the lobby. after an hour, i was still waiting. no toothbrushes were in my room, they should be standard.

i found that the front desk staff was polite. they handled my check-in efficiently. my room included a well-stocked mini-bar, and i also found complimentary bottled water there.
i did notice some minor wear and tear on the furniture.

flowerbox room divine scents attentive staff grey lobby boring interior tacky chandelier
i had such a blast! the flowerbox room had the most divine scents, i was like i was in a fairytale! the breakfast was yummy, so much to choose and the staff were super attentive, it really set me up for the day. the hotel is decorated with beautiful flowers, a really exquisite touch that i loved.
honestly, i booked a table at the wintergarden i saw on tv, i expected so much more! the lobby felt kinda grey and boring, it just didn't have that special something other hotels have. the chandelier? oh dear, it looked like something from a mall, not a fancy hotel.

fantastic stay!
plentiful breakfast champagne bottle friendly staff
i really enjoyed the breakfast. it was plentiful and offered lots of choice. we received champagne and macaroons in the room (plus a sweetie jar, which i certainly enjoyed!). valet parking was easy, and all staff were helpful and friendly.
the curtains in my room didn't fully block the morning light, so the room got very bright. the bidet drain also wasn't working properly. i noticed some dust that hadn't been completely removed.

the rooms are spacious and tidy. housekeeping kept everything super clean . i found the bed very comfortable (it was hard to get up in the mornings!).

central location clean room fruit variety
The hotel's location near major attractions proved very convenient. The room was clean and well kept. I really liked breakfast, particularly the variety of options available (especially the fresh fruit!).
