Hope Street Hotel is appreciated for its modern and spacious rooms, often described as bright and clean, with some offering great views of the city. The hotel's location is ideal for accessing Liverpool's attractions, including historical landmarks and the Anglican Cathedral. Many guests enjoyed the spa facilities, which include an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as multiple saunas and steam rooms; while some guests have noted that rooms in the eaves may present height restrictions in certain areas, most find the rooms comfortable and well-equipped with amenities like robes and slippers.

The room was clean and well appointed, acceptable for a short stay.
I requested an early check in. It was not referenced at check-in, though an apology would have been nice, though the hotel itself is nice inside.

quality foodexcellent showergood drink selection
The breakfast had high quality food. Staff at the bar had a very good drink selection available. The bathroom provided a separate bath and an excellent shower.
Operating the tv was challenging. It wasn't a big thing though.

helpful staffconvenient locationbig windowdesign issuebathroom windowwooden floor
The staff was very helpful. The restaurant has big windows facing the street. I found it great for people watching. The location was convenient, with a bus from the airport stopping right outside.
The room had some design issues. There was no blind on the bathroom window. Walking on the wooden floor created creaking sounds. I heard the person in the room above me going to the toilet frequently.

missing picturesminimalist bathroom
The room furnishing did not meet the cost. The suite lacked pictures. A lone sofa and a tiny desk occupied a corner. The bathroom was minimalist with no curtain, blind, shower door, or toilet brush. Breakfast ended promptly at 10 am. I arrived one minute late and I was denied service despite having paid for it.
