The opulent staircases display such sophistication. I noticed an intentional placement of a bedside gift, i found it a classy touch. The charming concierge was cheeky, yes, but helpful. The wait staff was adorably nervous. I enjoyed every bit of my stay.
The room made some spontaneous rattling noises during the night. It was windy, and i woke up repeatedly. (i was startled!).

The architecture showcases really good detailing with a requintada decor. The location is quite central. it still feels nicely secluded and set apart from the busier areas, this provides a pleasant ambiance.

the rooms are large with comfortable beds. the hotel has a great whiskey selection. the staff is attentive. i was upgraded to a suite, it was huge with a lower floor bathroom that was also huge.

the breakfast includes a full scottish option and continental choices are available too. i tried the full scottish breakfast and found some parts of the bacon a bit burnt, but it still tasted delicious.
