Hotel Indigo Newcastle enjoys a fantastic location, just a short walk from Central Station and close to the shopping area and city center attractions, with a Metro stop nearby for exploring further afield. The hotel has been recently refurbished, featuring a modern design and spacious rooms; while most guests find the experience delightful, a few have mentioned minor cleanliness issues or the odd maintenance concern in some rooms. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds and the availability of a great breakfast, including tasty cooked breakfast sandwiches and croissants, especially given that the seated breakfast service may be temporarily unavailable due to refurbishment.

the room was clean and well-styled. it looked freshly decorated. air-con was an added bonus (the weather was unseasonably warm). slippers and robes were provided in the room.
i had to gain permission from the doorman to enter the lobby. i had to prove i was a guest. the bathroom was badly designed and flooded every time i showered.

The air conditioning did not work. This was frustrating. the room was uncomfortably hot, even after i reported it to the front desk. there was also a persistent noise from a unit on the roof that kept me awake at night. This needs to be addressed. i did not get the rest i needed.

The hotel recently underwent a complete refurbishment. The updated reception and rooms looked great! The location was central. It was perfect for accessing nearby amenities. I found parking next door, very convenient. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The breakfast hot choice menu was extensive and the best I've seen at a hotel. The continental options were also available, and the pastries were huge. I started the day with a full tummy, which I appreciated.
