Excellent Stay Experience

The check-in process was smooth with a very cute staff. The bar area was attractive and offered a good selection at breakfast. Its proximity to the train station makes it a convenient choice. I will certainly return. I received an unexpected upgrade to a spacious and very comfortable Junior Suite as a pleasant surprise.
During my visit, the bathroom needed minor attention because it showed slight aging signs in certain areas.

the breakfast offered a great selection of foods with amazing quality, i savored the bar area and the snug room within. the location was quite convenient for exploring arthur's seat, also allowing easy walks into the city centre. i found it lovely not to be directly in the heart of town.
One minor issue i experienced involved the pillows. They seemed either too firm or somewhat lumpy, which affected my sleep quality slightly. it was a small inconvenience during an otherwise beautiful stay.

i found the room to have air con and a fridge. this was appreciated during a mini heat wave. the shower was excellent, i liked it. i saw shortbread too as well as local products for tea and coffee, this was a nice touch.

The location was close to the Royal Mile so reaching it did not take too long.
The food quality was not satisfactory. I found the chicken tenders too spicy without prior warning. The fish and chips tasted oily with a stale flavour. The cheeseboard was also subpar.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room. The high-quality towels and linens stood out. Dinner in the hotel was a pleasant surprise with excellent food at fair prices.
the windows were not soundproof. Conversations from pedestrians outside were audible, even with closed windows. The breakfast was not great. The pastries seemed stale and lacked freshness.
