quiet stay near the barbican

nice surpriseclean roomterrible manner
i received an upgrade, a nice surprise. the room was clean. the atmosphere was nice for my activities.
the male staff member was terrible and miscommunication is daft. his professional manner was terrible, this made follow me and my wife out the restaurant.

The staff were helpful. I appreciated that the location was good. The bed was super comfy for two people.
I wanted early check-in, it was not available. So, I booked and paid upfront for two days, but I was told I had been marked as a no show. I was not advised by phone or email.
