the hotel was very convenient for the city center. staff were friendly and helpful and happy to look after bags before check in, helpful. the room was well decorated and spacious. i found usb plugs near the bed very useful.
i would have appreciated tea and coffee facilities in my room. a coffee station was on the second floor, but it was slightly inconvenient to climb stairs with hot drinks. i had to get dressed in the morning to get coffee.

Excellent boutique experience

clean room restful experience
I had a very clean room. It included all amenities I needed for my stay. The room was quiet and restful. The hotel provided a valet parking service, and Wayne assisted me with it upon arrival. Every staff encounter was very positive.
I found the soap dispensers in the bathroom difficult to use. There was combined body and hair soap, a minor inconvenience. I believe separate options would be a nice improvement. I also noticed there were some worn areas and stains on the carpets in the reception areas.
Service
10/10
All staff members were helpful and kind. I particularly appreciated the valet parking service. Staff provided assistance with luggage storage before check-in and accommodated an earlier check-in time, which i appreciated.
Facilities
9/10
The historic building has a charming back courtyard. The location allows easy access to attractions. Breakfast options included an à la carte menu. There are tea and coffee stations available on multiple floors for guest convenience

minor issues detracted from the experience

inconsistent breakfast hard eggs
The room lacked some expected amenities. there were no tea or coffee facilities available directly in the room. Instead, i had to go to a station on the second floor, but it was out of order. breakfast was also inconsistent. One day marmalade looked, another day it didn't, despite my asking. the cooked breakfast wasn't hot, and the poached eggs were hard, quite the performance, really.
