the hotel location is excellent. it is a short walk from waverley station. the staff stored my luggage before check-in. my room was spacious, very clean, and had comfortable beds. i liked the excellent bathroom with provided toiletries, though i wished i had a shower cap. breakfast offered a variety of options, all freshly cooked.
i had to drag heavy cases up several flights of stairs, not ideal.

stuck thermostatfirm bed
the room got uncomfortably warm! i tried to adjust the thermostat, but it seemed stuck on 'sauna'. opening the window helped a little. but then street noise became an issue. the bed was a bit too firm for my liking! i woke up with a slight backache each morning.
