excellent location easy walk suite upgrade basement room poor air circulation security concerns
The location was excellent. Even the driver from the airport commented on it. the hotel is an easy walk to everything, including restaurants nearby. i was actually surprised by an upgrade to a suite (i booked a double room).
the room was obviously in the basement. there was no air circulation at all. i did not feel safe since there was no secondary door lock (the window faced a door that was always open).

I found the location ideal, very close to attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hotel offers a good breakfast with several options available. The staff were friendly and helpful (a real asset!). The hotel is nicely refurbished.
The plumbing was a little noisy. I could hear some sounds from neighboring rooms.

the location was central (a definite plus for exploring!). the bed in the room was large and comfortable. i found homemade shortbread cookies (i loved this touch!). the staff was friendly, especially when i needed assistance.
The room got quite warm. I wished there was a fan available or air conditioning, but this was a minor inconvenience.

the hotel location is excellent. it is a short walk from waverley station. the staff stored my luggage before check-in. my room was spacious, very clean, and had comfortable beds. i liked the excellent bathroom with provided toiletries, though i wished i had a shower cap. breakfast offered a variety of options, all freshly cooked.
the hotel has no elevator to all floors. i had to drag heavy cases up several flights of stairs, not ideal.
